In late 2005 I attended a charity auction where I inadvertently won the bidding for a trip to Moab, Memorial Day weekend 2006. Initially disappointed, I soon discovered that the trip was worth more than double the price I paid for it. Included was the use of a brand new 2005 Land Rover LR3 for the entire weekend and to and from Moab, as well as lodging in the Red Cliffs Lodge, which is right next to the Colorado River among the picturesque sandstone bluffs.
